Dr. Cholleta Menja, DNP, is the Administrator, Owner, and CEO of GREAT VALLEY BEHAVIORAL HOMES, a family-rooted business in the healthcare field. Her journey in healthcare began in the United States, starting as a respite provider, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and behavioral health technician (BHT) at a Phoenix hospital, where she developed a strong appreciation for mental health care.

Dr. Menja’s commitment to professional growth led her to earn an Associate in Applied Science and later a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). She worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) in various healthcare settings, specializing in psychiatric nursing.

Her educational journey continued with admission to the University of Arizona, where she pursued a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). In 2023, she completed training as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) at the same institution, highlighting her dedication to addressing critical healthcare issues.

Dr. Menja balances her professional life with quality time with her son, AJ, and enjoys exploring nearby destinations. Her extensive education, diverse nursing experiences, and specialized training make her well-qualified to provide exceptional mental health care, including support for survivors of sexual assault, through GREAT VALLEY BEHAVIORAL HOMES.

Dr. Marshall Umoren, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a distinguished background in healthcare. With experience ranging from Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to Registered Nurse (RN), and now as a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) specializing in psychiatric mental health, Dr. Umoren brings a wealth of expertise to his role.

As Clinical Director at Great Valley Behavioral Homes, Dr. Umoren is renowned for his compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. He is committed to ensuring accessibility for both patients and support staff, being available 24/7 to provide guidance and support whenever needed. His leadership within acute psychiatric hospitals has been marked by innovative strategies to improve patient outcomes and promote staff well-being.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Umoren enjoys engaging in recreational activities such as soccer, chess, and Scrabble, showcasing his diverse interests and talents. He is deeply committed to community advocacy and education, working tirelessly to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues and improve access to quality care.

Milka Menja is an esteemed healthcare professional with a wealth of experience in patient care coordination. Prior to her role as Patient Care Coordinator at Great Valley Behavioral Homes, Milka served as a Program Director at Sevita and Tungland Corporation, where she honed her skills in program management and healthcare administration.

In her current capacity, Milka works under the supervision of Dr. Cholleta Menja, the Administrator, and Dr. Marshall Umoren, the Clinical Director, at Great Valley Behavioral Homes. Together with Dr. Menja and Dr. Umoren, Milka plays a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication and coordination among healthcare providers, patients, and their families.

Milka’s responsibilities as Patient Care Coordinator include overseeing appointment scheduling, coordinating treatment plans, and assisting patients with navigating insurance matters. Her compassionate advocacy and dedication to delivering patient-centered care contribute to enhancing the overall patient experience at Great Valley Behavioral Homes.
